Gazprom to appeal against write-off of 9 bln rbl of Chechen debts

MOSCOW, Jan 18 (PRIME) -- Gazprom Mezhregiongaz, a unit of Russian gas giant Gazprom, will appeal against a decision of the Zavodskoi District Court of the city of Grozny to oblige Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Grozny to write off 9 billion rubles of household debts for natural gas as uncollectible debts, a representative of the company told PRIME on Friday.

“The gas supplier did not submit any documents to the court that would deem these debts as uncollectible. We will appeal against the decision,” the representative said.
